Sebastian is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Michael Turner. He studied Chemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg in Germany and concluded his studies in 2015 with his Master’s thesis in C-H direct arylation polycondensation under the supervision of Dr. Michael Sommer. After his graduation, he went to the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) in Thailand to continue research on conjugated polymers. He started his PhD at the University of Manchester in January 2017. His current research is focused on the synthesis of conjugated polymer nanoparticles via emulsion polymerisations and their application in organic field effect transistors (OFETs).
