Vanessa Tischler is a PhD-student at OMIC at the University of Manchester. Born and raised in Austria, she acquired her Bachelor’s degree in physics and her Master’s degree in material sciences at the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck. Currently she is working on the pNeuron-project under Professor Michael Turner, Professor Piotr Dudek, Dr Leszek Majewski, and Dr Jayawan Wijekoon. Her research interests are printed electronics, especially organic transistors and their use in sensors and artificial neurons.
